At St. Mary's children are encouraged to develop a good self-image and our expectations are high. We expect children to respect other people, their property and the environment. All of our teachers and support staff we employ are chosen for their abilities to work with and empathise with both parents and children. We provide teaching styles to meet the needs of the pupil. This could mean pupils working independently or in groups. We offer a wide range of special activities for children who are especially gifted or talented.

We are part of the Salisbury Diocese who support and monitor the delivery of Religious Education and Collective Worship throughout Wiltshire and Dorset (http://www.salisbury.anglican.org/whos-who/diocese).

We offer a range of after school clubs including drama, art, gardening and sports club. Pupils are given the opportunity to engage in a range of competitive sports from golf to swimming.

We have a Breakfast Club and Afternoon Club which has proved very successful with our working parents.

We provide childcare from 7.45 am - 5.15 pm for £10.00 a day. Children enjoy a filling breakfast, varied activities and a snack at the end of the school day.

We have many links with the community including the Arts Centre, St. Mary's Church, performing for the elderly at Sidney Gale Home, the Leisure Centre to name but a few.

We also use our beautiful area for a wide range of topic work and walks to the seaside and in the local area are frequent in the summer months.
