Magnificent Meadows
Ruth told us about Bridport Meadows and how loads of meadows around the world have been destroyed. She put us into five groups and gave us a survey. Next we went around the meadow and found different types of wild flowers. We discovered red clovers and yellow rattles lived there. After that we were playing a game where we have to get five things: soil. air, water, sunlight and sun warmth. If we didn’t get even one of the cards we wouldn’t grow. Finally we played a game where we were butterflies, bees and moths. We were supposed to collect nectar and the bug that got the nectar won. The butterflies won. At the end I learnt that the world needs meadows for all our wonderful creatures. By NICOLE—Year 3
