Charging and Remissions

The school will charge for the following activities:

  • Breakfast Club and After School Clubs, the charge for which includes the cost of food and staffing
  • School trips, the charge for which includes the cost of entrance into the attraction / venue, accommodation (where applicable), transport and insurance / risk assessments.
  • Music tuition, the charge for which is based on the price charged by the external music teacher. Places are limited and are provided at the request of the parent.
  • For regular activities, the charges for each activity will be determined by the Headteacher and reviewed in May each year. Parents will be informed of the charges for the coming year in June each year.

Remissions
In some circumstances the school may not charge for items or activities. This will be at the discretion of the Headteacher and will depend on the activity in question.


Remissions for residential visits
All children in receipt of pupil premium will be eligible for a 50% discount on trips, breakfast club and after school clubs. They will be entitled to one free after school activity per half-term. Payment plans are available to spread the costs where requested.


Where parents do not qualify for Free School meals and therefore, pupil premium funding but are experiencing financial hardship, please do speak to the Headteacher.
